With the complete lack of imagination exhausted geographers so often display … this is Ocean Beach (Wairarapa) New Zealand. There are at least five other Ocean beaches in NZ, but this one is as bleak and windswept as you could hope for, and it looked great in the infrared. There were also a lot of deceased fish and small sharks scattered on the gravel, so it smelt quite distinctive too.
